You play a major role in how our customers feel when they leave the store. You might be the first, last, and sometimes only associate a customer interacts with.
As an ambassador of Walmart, you will provide exceptional customer service by smiling, greeting, and thanking every customer. This requires a positive attitude, strong communication skills, and a passion for helping others.
The pace can be intense, especially in the evenings, weekends, and holiday seasons. You will need to juggle multiple tasks simultaneously, such as scanning items, explaining prices, bagging items properly, counting cash back, and keeping your area clean.
**Responsibilities:
* Cashier: scan items, explain prices, and keep your area clean
* Answer customer questions and help them with their needs
* Be available to assist associates across the store as needed
* Cart and Janitorial: gather carts from the parking lot, operate equipment to move carts inside the store, and clean restrooms, salesfloor, and parking lot as needed

**Hourly Wage Range:
The hourly wage range for this position is $16.00 to $26.00. The actual hourly rate will equal or exceed the required minimum wage applicable to the job location.
**Additional Compensation:
Additional compensation includes annual or quarterly performance incentives and premiums may be paid in amounts ranging from $0.35 per hour to $3.00 per hour in specific circumstances.
