About This Role
You play a major role in how our customers feel when they leave the store. As an ambassador of Walmart, you are often the first and last point of contact for customers.
What You'll Do
- Smile, greet, and thank every customer with a positive attitude.
- Stand for long periods of time while checking out customers quickly and accurately.
- Keep your area clean and presentable at all times.
- Answer customer questions and help them with their needs.
- Be available to assist associates across the store as needed.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Cashier responsibilities include scanning items, explaining prices, bagging items properly, counting cash back, and maintaining a clean workspace.
- Cart and Janitorial responsibilities include gathering carts from the parking lot, operating equipment to move carts inside the store, and cleaning restrooms, salesfloor, and parking lot as needed.
