Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Yard Truck and City Driver to join our team. As a key member of our distribution and logistics operations, you will be responsible for safely transporting trailers and merchandise to designated locations, adhering to all regulations and company policies.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Operating a Yard Truck to transport trailers to designated locations.
- Maintaining records, logs, and forms, including those required by the Department of Transportation (DOT).
- Operating a tractor trailer to deliver merchandise to stores.
- Maintaining electronic logs and load-related paperwork.
- Performing preventative maintenance on DC equipment and building.
- Safely and correctly performing facility upkeep activities.
Requirements:
- Valid state-issued driver's license.
- Obtaining Class A Commercial Driver's License (CDL) within 6 months.
- Minimum 30 months experience in a full-time Class A tractor/trailer driving position.
- No more than two moving violations in the last three years.
- No serious traffic violations while operating a commercial motor vehicle.
- No convictions for DUI, DWI, OUI, or reckless driving involving alcohol/drugs.
