Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled Power Equipment Operator to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for operating heavy machinery to transport goods through the Distribution network, ensuring efficient movement of products from the warehouse to stores.
Main Duties:
- Operating power equipment in a safe and correct manner, adhering to all safety protocols and company policies.
- Transporting freight, pulling merchandise, replacing freight, filling daily orders, and controlling freight flow to meet customer requirements.
- Maintaining a clean work environment to ensure safety and compliance with company standards.
- Driving tractor/trailers in a safe and correct manner by adhering to all traffic laws and regulations.
Requirements:
- A valid state-issued driver's license is required for this position.
- The candidate should have at least 6 months of experience operating tractor/trailer units, specifically within the Yard Driver - On Property context.
