Job Summary: We are seeking a highly skilled Yard Truck and City Driver to join our team. As a Yard Truck Driver, you will be responsible for operating a Yard Truck to transport trailers safely to designated locations while adhering to all regulations. You will also operate a tractor trailer to deliver merchandise to stores as a City Driver. This role requires strong attention to detail and the ability to maintain accurate records and logs.
About the Job:
- You will drive a tractor/trailer in a safe and correct manner by adhering to all regulations.
- You will transport trailers to appropriate destinations in an accurate and timely manner.
- You will inspect mechanical, safety, and emergency equipment of the tractor/trailer unit before, during, and after trips.
- You will maintain records by retaining load-related paperwork, electronic logs, and forms.
Requirements:
- You must have a valid state-issued driver's license and obtain a Class A Commercial Driver's License (CDL) within 6 months.
- You must have at least 30 months of experience working in a full-time Class A tractor/trailer driving position in the previous 3 years.
- You must not have more than two (2) moving violations while operating a personal or commercial motor vehicle in the last three (3) years.
- You must not have any convictions for a DUI, DWI, OUI, or reckless driving involving alcohol/drugs within the last ten (10) years.
