About the Job:
As a Yard Truck Driver at Walmart, you will be operating a Yard Truck to transport trailers safely to designated locations, adhering to all regulations. You will also work as a City Driver, delivering trailer loads of merchandise to stores.
Key Responsibilities:
- Operate tractor/trailers in a safe and correct manner by adhering to all regulations.
- Transport trailers to appropriate destinations in an accurate and timely manner.
- Maintain records, logs, and forms, including those required by the Department of Transportation (DOT).
Requirements:
- Valid state-issued driver's license for Yard Driver positions.
- Class A Commercial Driver's License (CDL) with Hazmat endorsement for City Driver positions.
- Minimum 30 months experience working in a full-time Class A tractor/trailer driving position.
- No more than two moving violations in the last three years.
- No serious traffic violations while operating a commercial motor vehicle in the last three years.
- No DUI, DWI, OUI, or reckless driving convictions involving alcohol/drugs within the last ten years.
- No preventable accidents while operating a commercial motor vehicle in the last three years.
