Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled Yard Truck Driver and City Driver to transport trailers safely to designated locations while adhering to all regulations. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for maintaining records, logs, and forms, including those required by the Department of Transportation (DOT). This role requires attention to detail, safety, accuracy, and a commitment to compliance.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Drive tractor/trailers in a safe and correct manner by adhering to all regulations.
- Transport trailers to appropriate destinations in an accurate and timely manner.
- Maintain records by retaining load-related paperwork, electronic logs, and forms.
- Operate tractor/trailer units safely by adhering to all safety requirements.
- Maintain a clean work environment to ensure safety and compliance.
- Perform additional duties as assigned.
Requirements:
- Yard Driver: Valid state-issued driver's license, obtain Class A Commercial Driver's License (CDL) within 6 months of job entry date.
- City Driver: Interstate (Class A) Commercial Drivers License with Hazmat endorsement or obtain HAZMAT endorsement within 120 calendar days of hire date.
- Minimum of 30 months experience working in a full-time Class A tractor/trailer driving position in the previous 3 years.
