Yard Truck and City Driver

Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Yard Truck Driver and City Driver to join our team. As a Yard Truck Driver, you will operate a Yard Truck to transport trailers safely to designated locations while adhering to all regulations. You will also maintain records, logs, and forms, including those required by the Department of Transportation (DOT). As a City Driver, you will operate a tractor trailer delivering merchandise to stores while maintaining accurate records and ensuring safety.

Duties and Responsibilities

• Operate tractor/trailers in a safe and correct manner by adhering to all regulations.
• Transport trailers to appropriate destinations in an accurate and timely manner.
• Maintain a clean work environment to ensure safety and compliance.
• Utilize warehouse management systems to move trailers to designated locations within the yard.
• Ensure quality by maintaining records, logs, and forms, including any forms required by the Department of Transportation (DOT).

Requirements

• Yard Driver: Valid state-issued driver's license, obtain Class A Commercial Driver's License (CDL) within 6 months of job entry date.
• City Driver: Interstate (Class A) Commercial Drivers License with Hazmat endorsement or will obtain HAZMAT endorsement within 120 calendar days of date of hire.
