As an ambassador of Walmart, you play a vital role in creating a positive customer experience. You will be the first point of contact for many customers and are responsible for ensuring they leave the store feeling valued and appreciated.
The pace can be intense, especially during peak periods such as evenings, weekends, and holidays. You will need to juggle multiple tasks simultaneously, including scanning items, explaining prices, bagging items correctly, handling cash transactions, and maintaining a clean workspace.

Duties and Responsibilities:
- Cashier duties: smile, greet, and thank customers with a positive attitude
- Stand for long periods while checking out customers quickly and accurately
- Keep your area clean and presentable
- Answer customer questions and provide assistance as needed
- Be available to support associates across the store as required
- Cart and Janitorial duties: gather carts from the parking lot, operate equipment to move carts inside the store, and maintain cleanliness of restrooms, sales floor, and parking lot

Additional Compensation:
- Average hourly wage range: $14.00 - $26.00
- Premiums may be paid in amounts ranging from $0.35 per hour to $3.00 per hour in specific circumstances
