The Role
We're looking for a Structural Engineer with a heavy civil engineering emphasis to join our team. As a Structural Engineer at Zenith Tech, you will be responsible for delivering complete civil-structural plans and/or recommendations. Your tasks will include:
- Reviewing site requirements and working with engineering team and stakeholders to deliver complete civil-structural plans and/or recommendations
- Engineering concrete, steel, and timber bridges, retaining walls, and earth-retention systems on roadway projects to relevant design and state codes
- Designing foundations, slabs, and framing for commercial and industrial structures
- Modeling and refining piling systems from deep foundation to solar fields
- Completing structural plans and details required for project delivery within project schedule constraints
- Assisting in responding to questions from contractors, public agencies and officials, or general public regarding policies, procedures, and practices
Requirements
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or related field emphasis in Structural Engineering
- 6 - 15 years of work experience in Structural Engineering
- PE License is required, SE license is preferred
- Valid Driver's License and satisfactory driving record
- Knowledge of heavy-civil structural theories and principles
- Prior experience working with computers and related software applications for analysis and design
- AutoCad knowledge is required, Revit, Civil 3D, Midas Civil, Risa 3D, Civiltech Shoring, and Civiltech AllPile are preferred

The salary for this role is estimated to be around $110,000 per year, depending on experience.
