Internship - Business Analyst/Data Management

Duration: 3-6 months, approximately 24-40 hours per week, with potential for extension of assignment or permanent employment

About the Role:

We are seeking highly motivated and detail-oriented Data/Business Analyst Intern(s) to join our team. You will work closely with customer support and sales teams to identify trends, pain points, and opportunities to enhance the overall customer journey.  You will be responsible for collecting, analyzing and interpreting data to improve customer satisfaction, retention and service efficiency.  This is an excellent opportunity to gain hands-on experience in data management and analysis, work with a dynamic team, and develop skills that can be applied in various industries!

Responsibilities:

• Assist in data management, including data cleaning, data transformation, and data visualization
• Analyze data to identify trends, patterns, and insights that inform business decisions; evaluate customer inquiries and complaints, collect feedback from surveys
• Support the development and maintenance of databases, data systems, and data processes (Hub Spot, CETEC, Jira, UKG)
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and implement data-driven solutions (supply chain, continuous improvement, customer experience, HR)
• Develop and maintain dashboards, reports, and other data visualizations to communicate insights to stakeholders (e.g., NPS, CSAT, response times)
• Perform ad-hoc data analysis and reporting as needed

Requirements:

• Currently enrolled in a Bachelor's or Master's degree program in Data Analytics, Computer Science, Statistics, Data Engineering, Business Information Systems, Business Analytics, Business Intelligence, Business Administration (with a focus on Analytics or Operations), Management Information Systems (MIS), Supply Chain Management, Project Management or a related field
• Be within 12 – 18 months of graduation with a minimum GPA of 3.0
• Must be authorized to work anywhere in the U.S. without sponsorship
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel, and experience with data visualization tools and technologies (e.g., SQL, Power BI, Tableau, Cognos, etc)
• Experience with Statistical Analysis, Collaboration, and Problem Solving
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with ability to work effectively in a team environment
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities
