- Oversees the operations of the Accounting Department, which include accounts payable, accounts receivable, bank reconciliations, and payroll.
- Oversees training programs and identifies training needs.
- Financial Reporting:
- Prepare and present accurate financial reports, including profit and loss statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statements.
- Analyze financial data to identify trends and make recommendations for improvements.
- Budgeting and Forecasting:
- Develop annual budgets and forecasts in collaboration with the restaurant management team.
- Monitor and control budget expenditures, ensuring adherence to financial goals.
- Cost Control:
- Oversee inventory and cost management, including food, beverages, and labor costs.
- Implement and maintain effective cost-control procedures to minimize waste and maximize profitability.
- Conduct regular audits of inventory, labor costs, and vendor payments.
- Cash Flow Management:
- Monitor cash flow and ensure the restaurant maintains adequate liquidity.
- Ensure timely payment of bills and manage vendor relationships to maintain good credit terms.
- Payroll and Benefits Administration:
- Oversee payroll processing, ensuring employees are paid accurately and on time.

- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (CPA preferred but not required).
- 3 years of experience in accounting or financial management, preferably in the hospitality or restaurant industry.
- Proficiency with accounting software and Microsoft Excel.
- Strong knowledge of financial regulations and accounting standards.
