Civil defense firm with offices in NC and SC seeks a litigation associate for its Greensboro office to defend health care professionals in medical malpractice actions and to represent them before various health care boards, and to assist in general litigation matters. 3-5 years of prior civil litigation experience is preferred. The position will require strong communication and research and writing skills. Self-confidence and a strong work ethic are required. This position will require frequent travel for client meetings, depositions, hearings, mediation, and trial. Candidates must be active members of the NC Bar or have the ability to waive into NC.
