Department Overview
Our Servicing experts service all Fannie Mae, Freddie Mac, and FHA Finance loans originated by Walker & Dunlop as well as certain life insurance company, bank, and CMBS loans. Our Servicing experts are the borrower's primary point of contact and ensure that the requirements of the investors are met from loan closing through payoff. The Department consists of six main functional areas : Loan Administration, Asset Management, Insurance Compliance, Investor Reporting, Treasury, and Compliance. W&D's Servicing portfolio is the 8th largest in the U.S., and W&D is one of Fitch's highest-rated Servicers, with a rating of CPS1-.
The Impact You Will Have
This position is a key member of the Asset Management team, responsible for borrower consent requests. This position is responsible for review and processing Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac borrower consent requests. This position is split between internal and external stakeholders with responsibilities that may cross departments. This position reports to a VP on the GSE Asset Management consent team.
Primary Responsibilities
- Review, process and / or approve borrower consent request transactions.
- Ensure consent requests are processed timely, accurately and in compliance with the servicing guide and loan requirements.
- Provide timely and accurate customer support to internal and external stakeholders.
- Assist in the automation of the Asset Management Department data as necessary
- Perform other duties as assigned
- Attendance is generally 8 : 30 am - 5 : 30 pm Monday through Friday with the ability to work up to 2 of those days remotely
Education and Experience
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
The team is open to hiring at the Asset Manager or Sr. Asset Manager level. These positions have estimated base salaries of $75,000 - $100,000 plus discretionary bonus, depending on the leveling of the position. An employment offer is based on the applicant's relevant work experience, applicable knowledge, skills, abilities, internal equity, and alignment with market data.
