Job Description
A Data Engineer is sought after by a growing manufacturer in Central PA to join their team.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design, build, and maintain databases and associated infrastructure.
- Develop and optimize scalable data pipelines and API integrations to support increasing data volume and complexity.
- Collaborate with database administrators and analysts to secure access to company data.
- Extract data from existing ERP systems and other sources and map it to the data warehouse and reporting tools.
- Create database solutions, evaluate requirements, and prepare design reports.
Requirements:
- 4-5 years of experience as a Database Architect or Data Engineer.
- Knowledge of Oracle Database, PL/SQL, and scripting.
- Experience with ETL Tools, particularly Oracle Data Integrator.
- General Data Warehousing experience.
- Familiarity with Unix/Linux OS (Linux preferred).
About the Role:
This is a hands-on, in-the-weeds type of role supporting enterprise-sized data tables. The ideal candidate will be able to move into a Data Architect role.
