Quality Assurance Inspector
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
· Perform regular quality inspections and assessments on incoming and outgoing product for the company.
· Read specification sheets and prints to understand the requirements of products.
· Measure product dimensions, examine functionality, and compare product to specifications.
· Document inspection outcomes by completing inspection reports.
· Maintains quality records associated with production, customer complaints, returns and rework.
· Collaborates with other members of the organization to continually improve processes and products.
· Prepares quality documentation and reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing information and trends including failed processes, nonconforming products, corrective actions, and re-validations.
· Assists with Corrective Actions.
· Enhances department and organization reputation by accepting ownership for accomplishing new and different requests; exploring opportunities to add value to job accomplishments.
· Resolve quality related issues in a timely manner.
· Assist with calibration on all production equipment and tooling.
QUALIFICATIONS / SKILLS
· Familiar with interpretation of engineering drawings and specifications.
· Experience with continuity testing.
· Experience in manufacturing or inspecting wire harness and cable assemblies.
· Understanding of measurements is required, along with basic computer skills.
· The ability to work with detailed instructions is critical for qualified applicants.
· CIRRIS and HIPOT experience is a preferred.
· Excellent communication skills.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
· High school diploma, GED, or equivalent. University/college degree is an asset.
· Experience in Production.
· Experience with QA measuring and testing equipment
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $21.00 per hour
