JOB SUMMARY

Seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Entry-Level Computer Technician to join our IT team. This role involves providing technical support, troubleshooting hardware and software issues, and assisting with the installation and configuration of computer systems. The ideal candidate is passionate about technology, has excellent problem-solving skills, and is eager to learn and grow in the field of IT.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES

• Provide technical support to end-users via phone, email, or in-person
• Troubleshoot and resolve hardware, software, and network issues
• Assist in the installation, configuration, and maintenance of computer systems and peripherals
• Perform routine system maintenance and updates
• Maintain accurate records of repairs, installations, and configurations
• Collaborate with the IT team to implement new technologies and solutions
• Provide user training on new hardware and software as needed
• Ensure compliance with company policies and IT best practices

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCES

• High school diploma or equivalent; Associate’s degree in IT or related field preferred
• Basic understanding of computer hardware, software, and networking
• Proficient with operating systems such as Windows, Chrome
• Familiarity with Azure, New World Technologies
• Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills
• Excellent communication and customer service skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Ability to learn and adapt to new technologies
• Experience with basic networking concepts
• Knowledge of office software applications (e.g., Microsoft Office, Google Workspace)
• Certifications such as CompTIA A or similar is a plus

WORK ENVIRONMENT

While performing the required duties of an Entry-Level Computer Technician, the employee can be exposed to moderate noise levels. Duties can be performed in the office or at other locations assigned by the Director, including outdoor areas.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $40,000.00 - $45,000.00 per year
