Department Overview
Our Servicing experts service all Fannie Mae, Freddie Mac, and FHA Finance loans originated by Walker & Dunlop as well as certain life insurance company, bank, and CMBS loans. Our Servicing experts are the borrower's primary point of contact and ensure that the requirements of the investors are met from loan closing through payoff. The Department consists of six main functional areas : Loan Administration, Asset Management, Insurance Compliance, Investor Reporting, Treasury, and Compliance. W&D's Servicing portfolio is the 8th largest in the U.S., and W&D is one of Fitch's highest-rated Servicers, with a rating of CPS1-.
The Impact You Will Have
Assist with the analysis of insurance coverage compliance for commercial loans in accordance with Investor guidelines.
Primary Responsibilities
- Complete general administrative tasks as necessary, such as filing, data entry, mail distribution / management, and supporting special projects.
- Perform quality control on the data quality entered into the insurance management system for newly closed loans
- Contact and communicate with insurance agents to collect required insurance documents such as policies and certificates
- Review third party activity for quality, accuracy, timeliness, and document errors for feedback
- Communicate and problem-solve daily with teammates, clients, vendors, and other stakeholders,
- Performs other duties as required and assigned to support the insurance teams
- Attendance is generally 8 : 30 am - 5 : 30 pm local time Monday through Friday with the ability to work up to 2 of those days remotely
