Our client is part of a large family office with diversified investments across industries, including Oil & Gas. They are seeking a Cash Accountant to be a key member of their accounting team. This role offers the opportunity to work with a variety of financial entities, managing over 50 bank accounts across multiple institutions.
Responsibilities
- Monitor, analyze, and ensure accurate recording of all bank transactions.
- Reconcile bank accounts in a timely manner to maintain financial accuracy.
- Collaborate closely with the accounting team, particularly the Oil & Gas division, to identify the nature of incoming deposits.
- Prepare and manage electronic payments for approval.
- Assist senior management with cash flow planning and provide timely reports on cash positions.
Requirements
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Accounting from an accredited institution preferred.
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel.
- Previous experience in treasury accounting is preferred but not required.
- Strong accounting and data analysis skills.
- Quick learner with the ability to work efficiently.
- Excellent analytical, critical thinking, and deductive reasoning skills.
- Clear, concise, and professional communication skills, both verbal and written.
