Walker Elliott is seeking an experienced Electrical Engineer for our client. The role will be responsible for leading the chemical plant's power distribution team and manage critical electrical infrastructure in our industrial facilities. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in high power system analysis, maintenance, and project management within industrial settings.
RESPONSIBILITES
- Oversee the maintenance, upgrade, and expansion of our electrical power distribution system, ensuring compliance with all applicable codes and standards
- Conduct advanced power system analyses, including load flow studies, fault current calculations, and protective device coordination
- Lead a team of engineers and technicians responsible for maintaining transformers, substations, breakers, and protective relaying systems
- Manage capital projects related to power distribution, including design, cost control, construction management, and commissioning
- Coordinate with site operations during emergency events to ensure rapid power restoration and minimal disruption
- Perform quality inspections of electrical installations and equipment in industrial environments
