Walker Engineering is growing, and we’re looking to add a Senior Corporate Recruiter to our team in Irving, Texas.
This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys building relationships, finding talent, and making a real impact on a fast-moving organization.
The primary focus of this role will be sourcing and recruiting salaried and professional-level talent across operations, project management, safety, estimating, VDC/BIM, field leadership, and other key areas of the business. We’re looking for someone who enjoys digging in, identifying talent, building pipeline, and connecting with candidates beyond just inbound applications.
You’ll have the opportunity to:
- Partner directly with leadership and hiring managers
- Recruit for impactful and business-critical positions
- Use proactive sourcing strategies and creative recruiting approaches
- Help shape pipeline strategy and recruiting processes
- Support hiring efforts across one of the most active electrical contractors in Texas
This role will also support field recruiting and interviewing efforts as business needs require, giving you exposure across multiple areas of the business.
What we’re looking for:
- Recruiting experience with strong sourcing ability
- Someone who is organized, proactive, and relationship-driven
- Experience using LinkedIn Recruiter, ATS platforms, and recruiting tools
- Ability to manage multiple openings and priorities in a fast-paced environment
- Construction, engineering, industrial, or skilled trades recruiting experience is a plus
