Overview:
We are seeking an experienced Site Supervisor to oversee construction projects from start to finish. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in construction management and the ability to manage a team of construction professionals. This role is responsible for ensuring projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards. The Site Supervisor will be expected to work closely with the project manager, architects, and other stakeholders to ensure the project is delivered successfully.
Responsibilities:
- Knowledge of job specifications to determine appropriate construction methods.
- Building and maintaining relationships critical to the success of the overall project and company.
- Maintain liaison with other departments to ensure all required materials, equipment and inspections are completed according to the project schedule.
- Review plans and specifications with architects and Project Manager to ensure completeness and clarify discrepancies. Offer guidance as it relates to constructibility and safety.
- Develop and update schedules and all daily documentation and reporting.
- Prepare daily reports, hold daily foreman's huddle and weekly foreman's meeting and direct weekly job site meetings with subcontractors and owner's or owner's representative.
- Coordinate all reporting requirements for subcontractors including safety documentation and daily reports.
- Review completeness and quality of subcontractor's work on a daily basis including compliance with work rules and OSHA regulations
- Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
- Education: Minimum HS Graduate, Trade Licensures preferred.
- Must be OSHA Certified.
- Minimum 5 years of construction supervision experience.
- Working knowledge of skilled trades including carpentry, masonry, concrete work, site excavation and grading, plumbing, HVAC, and electrical.
- Must be proficient in reviewing and understanding all construction documents including specifications and drawings.
- Excellent communication skills with various parties including management, subcontractors, consultants, architects, vendors and clients.
- Must be able to pass a Criminal Background Check.
- Computer literate-at a minimum proficient in Excel, Word, Email and Powerpoint
- Willing to take on multiple responsibilities and complete a variety of tasks to complete projects on time.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $60,000.00 - $70,000.00 per year
