Description
- Determine work to be performed by use of company computer system or request of scheduler or supervisor
- Obtain the tooling job packet from the bench
- Measure dies and stack dies to print or press shut height if adjustment is needed due to press wear
- Verify heat code and part number in tooling according to the shop order
- Operate die pre-heater
- File appropriate paperwork in press file
- Repair and change tooling as needed by production
- Reshim dies as needed by production
- Disassemble jobs that have completed production runs
- Keep work area neat, clean and organized
- Maintain required quantity and quality levels
- Follow all safety regulations
- Operate Company computer system
