Walker Healthforce is seeking a Provider Enrollment Specialist for a healthcare client located in Irving, TX. This is a contract position.
START DATE: ASAP

JOB DESCRIPTION
- Prepare and submit credentialing applications to commercial health plans, Medicare, and Medicaid, following up as necessary via phone, email, and online systems.
- Track application progress and inform relevant personnel within and between departments.
- Update and maintain the internal database for credentials, ensuring accuracy and current information.
- Identify and communicate enrollment problems in a concise and respectful manner.
- Collaborate effectively with team members to complete enrollment activities.
- Coordinate with internal and external customers while adhering to the CHRISTUS Mission and Code of Ethics, promoting cultural diversity.
- Update stakeholders regarding the status of enrollment activities and assist with the maintenance of tracking systems.
JOB REQUIREMENTS
- Proficient in preparing and submitting credentialing applications to commercial health plans, Medicare, and Medicaid
- Meticulous in tracking application progress and maintaining accurate records in the internal database
- Ability to identify enrollment problems and relay information clearly and courteously to appropriate personnel
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and SharePoint
- Ability to sit or stand at a desk for long periods
