Senior Sourcing Advisor | Hybrid | Chicago, IL | Contract to Hire
Walker Healthforce is seeking a Senior Sourcing Advisor for a healthcare client located in Chicago, IL. This is a contract position.
START DATE: ASAP

JOB DESCRIPTION
- Defining and managing categories, conducting market intelligence, and developing supplier roadmaps and negotiation strategies
- Leading escalations related to requirements, contract drafting, and negotiations
- Supporting procurement strategy in a dynamic, matrixed, and fast-paced environment
JOB REQUIREMENTS
- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Business, Finance
- 7 years of experience in strategic sourcing and indirect procurement.
- Expert knowledge of strategic sourcing principles.
- Proficient with Microsoft applications (Excel, Outlook etc.)
PREFERRED JOB REQUIREMENTS
- Advanced degree (e.g., Computer Science, MBA)
- CPSM certification
- 3 years of experience in IT software sourcing
- 3 years of direct or indirect leadership or cross-functional team leadership
- Familiarity with health insurance industry
