Location: You'll have the flexibility to be based in El Dorado, AR.
Key Responsibilities:
- Work with an array of equipment including compressors, pumps, fans, and blowers.
- Collaborate with multi-disciplinary teams to enhance plant reliability.
- Specify and maintain rotating equipment, adhering to industry and company standards.
- Provide technical training and quality assurance/control.
- Play a critical role in plant startups, shutdowns, and performance reviews.
Qualifications:
- BS in Mechanical Engineering.
- 5 years of experience with industrial rotating equipment in a plant environment.
- Familiarity with Industry Standards (API, ASME, PIP, etc.).
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and excellent communication skills.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and work in a dynamic environment.
Work Environment:
- Physical work around industrial equipment is required, including climbing stairs and ladders.
- Willingness to work with dust, chemicals, and in high-pressure and temperature conditions.
- Commitment to safety and wearing Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).
Travel: 40% to 60%
Important Notes:
- This position requires specific experience in downstream plant environments in the oil and gas sector, with an emphasis on continuous improvement in chemical plant settings.
- Experience with APIs is crucial.
