We are seeking a seasoned Maintenance Leadership Position candidate to oversee the maintenance and reliability programs at our facility. In this role, you will play a pivotal part in ensuring our chemical processing equipment operates at peak efficiency.
About the Job
- Lead Turnaround Planning: Spearhead site turnaround efforts, focusing on safety, cost-effectiveness, and efficiency goals.
- Team Leadership: Provide direction to the maintenance team, emphasizing safety, reliability, cost management, and labor utilization.
- Preventive Maintenance: Develop and implement comprehensive preventive and predictive maintenance programs to maintain equipment efficiency.
- Reliability Initiatives: Introduce and sustain reliability best practices to ensure operational dependability.
- Problem Resolution: Analyze process issues, performance gaps, and guide resources to resolve manufacturing and maintenance challenges.
- Continuous Improvement: Drive corrective/preventive measures and participate in the development of continuous improvement actions.
- Budget Management: Oversee departmental budgets, focusing on cost-effective maintenance solutions.
- Spare Parts Management: Ensure critical equipment and spare parts are adequately stocked and managed by the purchasing and warehousing teams.
- Safety Leadership: Maintain a safe working environment, minimizing incidents and injuries, and supporting PSM and HSE initiatives.
- Training & Development: Develop and implement training programs for maintenance personnel to enhance skillsets and operational effectiveness.
- Cross-functional Collaboration: Work closely with the site Management Team to reduce downtime and ensure effective maintenance practices.
Qualifications
- 10 years of plant maintenance experience, including 5 years in the chemical industry (preferred).
- Bachelor's degree or higher in Mechanical Engineering or a related field from a 4-year ABET accredited program.
- Strong knowledge of OSHA, EPA, NFPA standards, and other regulatory requirements.
- Exceptional analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- Highly organized, with a focus on process, time management, and the ability to manage multiple priorities.
- Proficient in computerized maintenance management software and Microsoft Office.
- Proven leadership and team-building skills with the ability to drive change.
- Physical ability to work on industrial equipment and willingness to work in challenging environments.
