Project Controls & Estimating Manager
Location: Oklahoma City, OK (Relocation assistance available)
Salary: $160,000 – $195,000 (Depending on experience)
Shape the future of project controls at the enterprise level:
A national chemical manufacturer is seeking a senior leader to define and lead project controls strategy across large-scale capital investments. Impact billion-dollar initiatives while mentoring project teams and setting new standards for estimating, forecasting, and cost tracking.
Be the go-to authority for enterprise cost estimation - advising on technology, methodology, and process improvement. You’ll guide projects from $1 million to $1 billion, with high visibility across executive leadership.
In this role, you’ll:
- Lead cost estimating and forecasting practices across major capital projects
- Guide internal teams and external partners in budgeting and reporting
- Evaluate and recommend cost estimation software
- Own AACE-aligned processes for estimating and change control
- Lead resource planning, cash flow forecasting, and project schedule integration
We’re looking for someone who has:
- 10 years in senior cost engineering/project controls within chemical, petrochemical, or large-scale manufacturing
- Expertise in manufacturing site construction and plant setup
- Experience leading or mentoring project controls professionals
- Familiarity with ERP and project tools (JD Edwards, SAP, EcoSys, Primavera P6)
- AACE (CCP) or PMP certification preferred
