Job Description
This individual contributor role requires strong leadership skills to influence safety practices across the site. You'll be hands-on in training, compliance, and incident management, and will work closely with the team to develop and implement safety protocols.
Responsibilities
- Develop and implement comprehensive safety programs.
- Conduct safety audits and lead site safety committees.
- Investigate incidents and provide strategic insights for preventative measures.
- Collaborate on safety considerations for capital projects and site upgrades.
Qualifications
- 5–7 years in safety management, specifically in mining, aggregates, or related heavy manufacturing industries.
- MSHA Parts 46 & 48 certification required.
- Leadership, training facilitation, public speaking, compliance expertise, and a collaborative approach to building trust.
- Ability to thrive in challenging environments, managing multiple priorities while maintaining safety as a top priority.
