Job Title: Accounts Receivable Clerk
Department: Accounting
Reports To: Chief Financial Officer
FLSA Status: Non-Exempt
SUMMARY:
Responsible for accounts receivable and billing functions of the company.
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Prepares, posts, and records customer payments and transactions related to accounts receivable.
- Daily bank deposits
- Daily invoicing and monthly statements
- Processes credit and debit memos
- Assists customers with billing related questions
- Works closely with Customer Service to maintain good relationships with customers.
ADDITIONAL RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Enforce credit limits
- Exchange rate entry
- Payment reminders and collection calls
- Maintains export documentation
- Because of the changing nature of our business, this job description will inevitably change. The employee will, from time to time, be required to undertake other activities of a similar nature that fall within his/her capabilities as directed by management.
KNOWLEDGE AND SKILL REQUIREMENTS:
- Knowledge and experience in collections and customer service.
- Ability to maintain a cordial relationship with the customer.
- Proficiency in Word and Excel
