The Custodian is responsible for stocking the linen closet with amenities and supplies, emptying trash receptacles, and cleaning. Essential Functions:
- Restock all housekeeping closets with amenities and supplies.
- Remove all soiled linen and transport to laundry facility.
- Remove all trash and debris from and deposit in outdoor dumpster or trash compactor.
- Move furniture in rooms and public areas to allow proper cleaning and vacuuming.
- Clean lobby, vending area, public spaces, fitness room, and pool area.
- Collect used pool towels and transport to laundry facility. Restock pool area with clean towels.
- Assist with housekeeping cleaning duties and laundry functions as needed.
- Notify housekeeping and/or maintenance in a timely manner of any reported problems with rooms or grounds.
Required:
- Knowledgeable in the operation of a vacuum cleaner, ladder, hand tools, and a trash compactor.
- Knowledge or ability to learn of OSHA regulations, SDS, biohazard protection, bloodborne pathogens and infectious disease hazards. Proper use of hazardous cleaning chemicals and personal protective equipment.
- Answer and respond to all calls promptly. Use of a hand radio.
- Basic knowledge of the proper use of laundry facility and equipment.
- Ability to safely move furniture.
- Knowledge or ability to learn hotel emergency procedures.
Schedule:
Full-Time; varies based on events and holidays and includes days, nights and weekends
Salary:
Starts at $16.50/hr (Includes Premium Pay)
