Dealer School teaches potential employees the art of dealing Blackjack, Craps, Roulette and other games. Classes are four hours a day, four days a week and lasting up to 4 weeks. Dealers are responsible for the control of the table game and assuring guests have a favorable gaming experience. Essential Functions:
- Deal the game per company rules and monitor the monies of the table at all times. Control gaming cards and equipment. Calculate and pay wins.
- Controls and maintains the appropriate speed of the game. Maintain the integrity of the game within gaming regulations. Provide exceptional customer service to all internal and external customers. Assures an environment which emphasizes cooperation, communication, and teamwork with all departments. Support compliance with all internal procedures and regulatory requirements, including those associated with underage and intoxicated guests. Supports current law and policy to provide a work environment free from illegal and discriminatory behavior. Complete job duties with minimal supervision, maintain acceptable attendance, and use appropriate judgment. Job duties, tasks, work hours, work requirements, and other duties as assigned may be added or changed at any time.
Required:
- Capable of carrying out uninvolved, standard procedures and/or using equipment or machines which are simple to operate. Typically does not require prior education or experience.
- Maintains courteous and effective working relationships with others to request or transmit information, ask questions or get clarification.
- Must hold a valid Illinois gaming license.
Schedule:
Full-time or Part-time; varies based on events and holidays and includes days, nights and weekends
Salary:
Hourly - $10.50/hr Average Including Premium Pay (plus tokes), 20-40 hours of PTO after 90 days
