I. Main duties and responsibilities:

· Under general direction, plan and organize daily activity of assigned area.

· Follow through on set processes and procedures to ensure compliance with good manufacturing practices (GMP), food safety, FDA, USDA requirements.

· Ensure that work descriptions are being followed.

· Responsible for monitoring, evaluating, and reporting qualitative and quantitative results of products, including alerting out of compliance results.

· Assist on administering Company’s quality program which may include Sensory evaluation, maintain sample retain library, internal audits, customer complaint, conduct environmental sampling, label review among others.

· Participate in raw materials, finished goods hold/release.

· Maintain production records, including storage and organization.

· Identify unsafe conditions/behaviors and take action to resolve.

· Perform post-cleaning and sanitation inspections.

· Perform other duties and tasks as assigned.

II. Qualifications:

· Bachelor’s degree or Associate in science food science preferred or equivalent; or High School Diploma and 4 years of experience in the food manufacturing industry.

· Knowledge of computer applications (Microsoft Word, Excel, Power Point)

Summary

As a Quality Control Technician, you will be essential in maintaining the highest quality standards in our manufacturing processes. Reporting to the Quality Assurance Manager, you will conduct quality audits, inspections, and analyses to ensure compliance with GMP and FDA regulations. Your core skills in quality management and assurance will be complemented by premium knowledge of ISO standards. Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other computer skills will aid in data collection and reporting. Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $20.21 - $23.00 per hour

Expected hours: 36 – 50 per week
