Walker Sands is currently looking for a detail-oriented person to serve as a Marketing Operations Intern for a paid, 12-week internship. This position is hybrid and will report to our Chicago office.

At Walker Sands, we take immense pride in our ability to help our clients grow their business through efficient and effective online marketing strategies. As a Marketing Operations Intern, you will play an integral role in achieving success for our clients.

We are looking for a results-driven results individual who wants to bring a creative approach to the world of Internet marketing and the intersection with Revenue Operations (RevOps). As a Marketing Operations Intern, you will work with our marketing professionals to define and implement Marketing Operations strategies. Working closely with a director, youโ€™ll help manage various elements of the marketing technology stack, such as HubSpot, Salesforce Account Engagement, and Google Analytics for our various B2B and tech clients. Youโ€™ll gain exposure to everything from building campaigns to optimization of lead flows with CRM systems like Salesforce to reporting and recommending new approaches based on program results.

At the end of your internship, you will be able to add these bullet points to your resume:

  • Maintain an online opt-in marketing preference center.
  • Automate scoring of marketing leads to identify warm leads for sales.
  • Build out nurture programs designed to drive demand and increase sales pipeline velocity for leads.
  • Audit marketing automation platforms such as HubSpot, Marketo, or Account Engagement.
  • Build out reports that measure marketing performance.
  • Ability to work with an integrated digital team and meet deadlines.
  • Optimize results through ongoing reporting and campaign management.
  • General understanding of the B2B tech industry and specific client markets.

Requirements

  • Ability to work a 40-hour per week schedule.
  • Candidates for the internship must be eligible for full-time employment at the conclusion of their internship.
  • A desire and eagerness to learn and grow.
  • Relevant internship experience or a current student or recent graduate (from an undergraduate or Master's program) with coursework in marketing, advertising, writing or a related field.

Internship Details

  • This is a 12-week paid, 40-hour per week internship that will begin on May 27, 2025.
  • Candidates for the internship must be eligible for full-time employment at the conclusion of their internship.
  • All internship candidate finalists must complete a skills test.

Compensation & Benefits:

  • We strive for pay transparency in our hiring process. Pay is only a part of the total rewards package. Below is the starting salary for this role: Hourly Pay Rate: $18.00 / hour
