Summary
The Safety Coordinator will provide assistance to the Operations team to ensure compliance with applicable federal, state, company, environmental, safety and health regulations. The right candidate will actively engage with all team members on all shifts to maintain a safety driven culture.
Responsible for the daily implementation and administration of safety programs and policies. The candidate will work with the General Manager to ensure compliance with safety procedures and to assist in the achievement of profitability/productivity requirements, rules and regulations including Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) and Department of Transportation (DOT).
Responsibilities
The essential functions include, but are not limited to the following:
• Assist with conducting safety audits and inspections on personnel, equipment, materials, and facilities.• Conduct safety related training and testing.• Identify ongoing safety training needs and coordinate safety training programs as needed.• Assist with OSHA inspections and related follow-up• Accident/incident investigations.• Research on safety topics.• Support Operations in the enforcement of all company, federal, and state Safety policies and procedures.
Qualifications
• Minimum 3 years' related experience• Bachelor’s degree in related field, or equivalent experience• Logistics experience preferred

Pay Range
USD $29.00 - USD $33.00 /Hr.Salary : $29 - $33
