At Walker SCM, we are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Warehouse Team Lead to join our team in Louisville, Kentucky. The ideal candidate will possess exceptional leadership abilities, a strong understanding of operational excellence, and the ability to drive results in a fast-paced environment.
The successful candidate will be responsible for leading all team members and activities, participating in 8D report preparation, analyzing and recommending operational improvements, ensuring accurate product location, and training warehouse personnel. They will also utilize KPI trends to drive operational improvements and assist with cycle counts and receiving order discrepancies.
Key qualifications for this role include the ability to multitask, organize, and prioritize work, as well as lead and train team members. The candidate should have excellent problem-solving skills and be able to visually inspect product according to documented processes.
