Walker, Inc. is a 501(c)3 nonprofit organization supporting children, youth, and families through therapeutic and educational programs. Founded in 1961, programs include an array of residential, learning, and counseling services. The Advancement Department partners with a caring community of donors and volunteers through a variety of fundraising events and initiatives.
The Senior Director of Advancement, Individual & Magor Gifts works closely with the Advancement Team to guide and implement strategic department planning and strategy as it relates to individual donors. This position will serve as one of three senior directors and a key member of the Advancement department responsible for stewarding and securing charitable support from individual donors. Through management of a portfolio of mid-level and major donors and active development of a pipeline of new donors, this position will sustain and increase support from individuals. The Senior Director, Individual & Major Gifts will envision new initiatives and / or develop ways to enhance existing strategies to grow relationships and giving from individual donors.
Duties and Responsibilities :
Strategy Development :
- Develop a comprehensive individual and major gifts strategy aligned with the organization's mission and goals.
- Identify potential individual and major gift prospects and create personalized cultivation plans for each donor
