Warehouse Associate/Delivery Driver Responsibilities
- Answers telephones calls and other correspondence in a courteous manner.
- Collaborates with coworkers to meet customer satisfaction.
- Communicates any difficult or complicated tasks to supervisor.
- Assists with loading, unloading, prepping, and pulling merchandise for deliveries and transfers.
- Ensures warehouse area is cleaned, organized, free of all trash and recyclables.
- Safety utilizes compactors and other equipment.
- Moves furniture and other merchandise by hand or with the assistance of equipment (like pallets, dollies, forklifts, and conveyor belts).
- Ensures all protocols are followed daily for inventory accuracy and handled in a timely manner.
- Tracks any canceled or extra merchandise moving through the warehouse.
- Assembles merchandise as needed.
- Knows company policies and procedures.
- Consistently on-time to work schedules and shifts.
- Upholds company safety procedures and follows OSHA safety standards.
- Attends training sessions and department meetings.
Qualifications
- Great skills in teamwork, reliability, and professionalism.
- Prior warehouse related experience is a plus.
- Successful candidates will be able to pass a pre-employment background check and drug screen (including marijuana).
- Must be at least 21 years old in order to be trained to operate a forklift.
Compensation & Benefits
- The pay rate is starting at $18.00 - 19.00 per hour with a 6-month review period.
