Responsibilities
The successful candidate will bring an understanding and ability to negotiate the terms and conditions of Government and commercial contracts with customers, subcontractors, vendors and suppliers
A strong command of the Federal Acquisition Regulations/Defense Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR/DFARS) and overall contracts management/administration functions are essential to this role
Must possess exceptional attention to detail, perform within time constraints, be flexible with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously, maintain good relationships with customers and subcontractors, and liaise with Programs and Engineering managers and staff to accomplish contractual commitments and their reporting
Drafting responses to Requests for Proposals (RFPs)
Reviewing contract deliverables
Reviewing and negotiating Prime Contracts terms/regulations
Monitoring company compliance with contractual requirements, applicable laws, delivery schedules, payment provisions, and reporting requirements
Reviewing Purchase Order (PO) terms with vendors
Reviewing/negotiating Software License Agreements
Supporting drafting, reviewing, and negotiation of Subcontracts issued by and to Mayflower
Issuing, reviewing, and negotiating the terms of non-disclosure agreements (NDAs)
Work within various tiers of the organization, e.g., collaborate with the project managers, the engineering team, the proposal and business management teams, and customers to accomplish business goals
Qualifications
and the ability to obtain a DoD clearance
Demonstrated ability to review and negotiate Government and commercial contracts
Command of FAR/DFARs regulations
U.S. Citizenship and the ability to obtain a DoD clearance
