Company, a national distributor & manufacturer of confectionary, nuts and coffee products since 1927, is seeking a Maintenance Technician to assist with production maintenance needs. The ideal candidate has 3 years previous maintenance experience, as well as experience with 480-volt 3 phase, schematic reading and controls. Duties:
- Perform routine maintenance and repairs on equipment and machinery
- Troubleshoot and diagnose mechanical issues
- Conduct inspections to identify potential problems and ensure compliance with safety standards and maintain accurate records of all maintenance activities
- Respond to maintenance requests in a timely manner
- Assist in production floor management & warehouse activities as necessary
- Fabricate and install new equipment or components as needed
- Provide exceptional customer service to internal stakeholders
Experience:
- High school diploma or equivalent required; technical certification or degree preferred
- Experience in a light industrial setting greatly preferred
- Proven experience in maintenance or related field
- Strong knowledge of mechanical systems, including HVAC, plumbing, and electrical
- Ability to read and interpret technical manuals and blueprints
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Previous experience with food packaging equipment is a plus
