We are currently seeking a Vehicle and Maintenance Mechanic with a strong electrical background to join our team. This role is responsible for performing highly diversified duties to install, troubleshoot, repair, and maintain construction and restoration equipment.
Job Hours : 8:00am - 4:30pm
Primary Responsibilities:
Repairs and maintains vehicles, machinery, and mechanical equipment
o Company Vehicles (oil changes, brakes, diagnostics)
o Hand Tools
o Ride On Sanders
o Grinders
Provides emergency/unscheduled repairs as well as scheduled maintenance repairs.
Observes mechanical devices in operation and listens to their sounds to locate causes of trouble.
Dismantles devices to gain access to and remove defective parts.
Reads and interprets equipment manuals and work orders to perform required maintenance and service.
Diagnoses and repairs electrical issues on vehicles, machinery, and tools.
Maintains safe and clean working environment by complying with procedures, rules, and regulations.
Assembles, installs, and fabricates equipment as well as perform preventative and predictive maintenance.
Qualifications:
GED or High School Diploma and/or Recent Trade School Graduate
Knowledge of Automotive and Machinery/Tool Repair
Oil Changes
Brakes
Wipers
Excellent troubleshooting experience.
Knowledge in basic cutting/welding, electrical/wiring, ability to read electrical diagrams and carpentry experience helpful.
Basic computer skills (i.e. Word, Excel, etc.)
Strong interpersonal and communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a team environment with people of varying skills and backgrounds.
Capable of managing stressful and high-pressure situations as there is an extreme sense of urgency to repair items in an emergency.
Excellent mechanical skills to read and interpret technical manuals and sophisticated diagnostic equipment to perform required maintenance and service.
Excellent problem solving/trouble shooting skills in order to observe, diagnose, and fix machinery malfunctions.

Pay: $25.00 - $35.00 per hour
