Saturday 645AM to 5PMResponsibilities
Job Summary: Supervise and coordinate plant sanitation operations to ensure compliance with company, local, state, and federal regulations
Directly oversee a team of 10-20 employees in the Sanitation department, providing training, guidance, and support
Maintain a high standard of sanitation in accordance with food manufacturing protocols while fostering a culture of safety and efficiency
Equipment Maintenance and Safety:
Promptly report any equipment malfunctions to maintenance
Identify and install or report any machine guards that are improperly secured or missing
Ensure timely accident and safety reporting in accordance with company policies and regulatory guidelines
Supervision and Training:
Manage daily tasks of subordinates to ensure timely completion while upholding food safety and quality standards
Provide discipline as necessary, adhering to company, union, and regulatory rules
Offer training and advancement recommendations for team members
Assist in conducting performance reviews and addressing employee concerns
Scheduling and Compliance:
Coordinate work schedules for sanitation personnel, adhering to company and union guidelines
Manage vacation and time-off requests at the direction of the sanitation manager to maintain adequate sanitation coverage without compromising standards
Assist in maintaining medical documentation for personnel in compliance with HIPAA guidelines
Monitor attendance and enforce company policies
Regulatory Compliance:
Ensure sanitation practices meet company, union, city, state, and federal guidelines
Adhere to OSHA standards, Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs), Safety, and HACCP policies
Collaborate with other supervisors to maintain a cohesive operation
Lifting up to 50 lbs
Available to work afternoon shift and/or weekend shifts as needed
Hot, at times exceeding 110°F Cold, at times below 0°F
Flour, Oil and Dust

Qualifications

A 4-year degree in business management or related field; working towards a degree; or experience in lieu of education
Supervisory experience is beneficial
Sanitation or food safety is beneficial
Microsoft Office
Paycor application experience helpful but not required
Some bending, stooping and climbing of a ladder is required
Able to work both indoors and outdoors
Able to work flexible or extended hours as directed by business needs
Strong communication skills
