What are the responsibilities and job description for the Maintenance Technician III position at Wall Colmonoy?
Overview :
Perform planned, preventative, and corrective maintenance to equipment and buildings. Prioritize tasks to prevent and reduce downtime. May work non-standard hours depending on business conditions. Works under moderate supervision.
Essential Functions :
- Observe, inspect, install, maintain, troubleshoot, disassemble, repair and reassemble production equipment in a safe manner.
- Resolve safety concerns related to production machines and equipment
- Conduct preventative maintenance inspections and perform PM's as required
- Possess working knowledge in pipe fitting, masonry, welding, construction, basic electricity, motors, mechanical power transmission, HVAC, and equipment cooling systems.
- Communicate with coworkers to coordinate installations or repairs.
- Possess an excellent knowledge of mechanical and electrical trouble shooting procedures.
- Read and understand equipment manuals and OEM procedures.
- Meet all federal, state, and local inspection requirements.
- Keep various maintenance records, reports, and inspections current.
- Attend meetings, training sessions and committees when requested.
Minimum Qualifications :
