Job Description:
The Construction Sales Rep is responsible for growing Wall Recycling’s market share in a specified area by selling, marketing and promoting the company as a premier provider of temporary hauling services for waste and/or recycling in the construction industry. The position will also sell reclaimed materials generated from our Transfer Stations and Landfills such as stone, mulch, and soil.
Key Responsibilities:
- Market Expansion: Sell temporary hauling services for waste and recycling in the construction industry, as well as reclaimed materials such as stone, mulch, and soil.
- Sales Growth: Meet or exceed monthly sales goals through prospecting (via site visits, office visits, phone, and email), business development, relationship building, and attending trade shows.
- Consultative Selling: Identify decision-makers, present services, handle objections, and clearly communicate the value of using Wall Recycling.
- CRM Usage: Utilize HubSpot daily to record sales activities, maintain a pipeline, and manage customer relationships and progress toward sales.
- Lead Generation: While selling temporary services, generate leads for permanent contracts and pass them to the permanent sales rep.
- Team Collaboration: Build internal relationships across departments and work as part of a team to support company growth.
- Service Knowledge: Learn the full suite of Wall Recycling services and disposal locations, both Wall-owned and third-party, and ensure compliance with relevant regulations.
- Market Awareness: Understand the competitive landscape in the assigned territory and use this knowledge in sales efforts.
Qualifications:
Must be authorized to work in the U.S. and have a valid driver’s license.
- Sales Experience: At least 3 years of consultative/strategic sales experience.
- Skills: Strong negotiation, problem-solving, and presentation skills, with proficiency in MS Office.
- Autonomy: Ability to work independently and meet sales goals.
- Team Player: Works collaboratively to support team and company success.
Compensation:
- Base salary plus commission
- Annual Salary: $55,000 and $65,000 based on experience
- Annual Commission earnings: between $24,000 and $48,000 based on performance
- Full Year compensation should be between $80,000 and $100,000. Subsequent years should increase as you grow your book of business.
