Territory Sales Rep
We are seeking a dedicated and passionate full-time Territory Sales Representative who possesses unmatched people skills! This job covers Raleigh and surrounding Markets. Responsible for selling products and services to businesses within a defined Sales Territory. Qualified candidate will have at least 3 years of successful Business to Business Sales.
Core Functions
Promotes our products and services to existing and prospective customers through a relationship-based approach. Work with potential clients to show how we can address their long-term needs.
Details of Function
- 85%: Generate new permanent front load and roll off business
- 15%: Retain and grow existing customers through a proactive approach
- Establish, develop, and maintain business relationships with current customers and prospective customers
- Perform high level of Activities (outbound phone calls, in-person cold calls)
- Initiate calls and in-person visits to current and prospective customers
- Enter daily activities into CRM
- Develop clear and effective written proposals/quotations for current and prospective customers
- Expedite the resolution of customer issues
- Knowledge expert of all services and products offered
Qualifications:
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced sales environment providing front line customer support
- Excellent oral and written communications skills
- Networking skills
- Presentable and polished appearance
- Collaborates well in team environment
- Sensitive to clients’ needs, and can develop lasting client relationships
- Ability to adapt to a variety of people
- Outgoing personality and a willingness to talk to anybody
- Strong time management and organizational skills required
- Familiar with using CRM software to record activities and manage pipeline
- Familiar with MS Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, Teams)
- Great math skills
- Attention to detail
- Understands how to productively manage time and territory
- Great follow up and follow through skills
- Waste management knowledge a plus
