Responsibilities:
- Lead the tax compliance process, ensuring timely and accurate reporting with external service providers.
- Review key source documents and partnership tax filings to ensure accuracy and compliance.
- Oversee partnership tax filings, including K-1s for private equity and hedge fund entities.
- Prepare and review tax projections and schedules for 20 entities with a diverse investor base.
- Manage partnership income allocations, including special allocations and basis tracking.
- Handle PTET payments across 9 jurisdictions and monitor tax law updates.
- Analyze complex tax issues, including PFICs and CFCs.
- Prepare and review international tax filings, including Forms K-2/3, 1042, 8865, 8858, 5471, 8621, and 926.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or Taxation; a Master’s in Taxation is a plus.
- CPA or equivalent certification preferred.
- 5-8 years of experience in public accounting with private equity, hedge funds, or fund-of-funds.
