Linux Engineer

We are seeking a highly experienced Senior Linux Engineer (10 years) with expertise in Puppet to manage and automate infrastructure at Procter & Gamble . The ideal candidate will design, implement, and maintain scalable Linux environments, leveraging Puppet for configuration management, automation, and compliance enforcement.

Key responsibilities include :

  • Managing Linux servers (RHEL, CentOS, Ubuntu) in an enterprise setting.
  • Developing and maintaining Puppet modules for automated configuration and infrastructure as code (IaC).
  • Ensuring system security, patching, and compliance with best practices.
  • Troubleshooting and optimizing system performance and deployments.
  • Collaborating with DevOps teams for CI / CD integration.

Requirements :

  • 10 years of Linux system administration.
  • 5 years of hands-on Puppet experience.
  • Strong scripting skills ( Bash, Python, Ruby ).
  • Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure) and containerization.
