Job Summary
We are seeking a motivated, enthusiastic and detailed Sales & Customer Service Representative to join the business. In this role, you will be the first point of contact for our customers, providing exceptional service and support. Your primary responsibility will be to assist customers with inquiries, resolve issues, and promote our products and services. Along with customers you will also deal with installers and our vendor reps.
Duties
- Respond promptly to customer inquiries in person, phone or email.
- Provide accurate information regarding products and services.
- Maintain a thorough understanding of our products to effectively assist customers.
- Document customer interactions for accuracy and follow up.
- Maintain a clean, organized showroom.
- Job quoting and ordering.
Requirements
- Experience in flooring and/or design sales and customer service role is preferred.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Strong problem-solving abilities with a focus on customer satisfaction.
- Ability to work independently.
- Proficient in using computer systems and software applications related to customer service along with Microsoft Office.
- High school diploma or equivalent; further education is a plus.
- Ability to lift and move heavy samples, displays and jobs.
- Basic understanding of accounting principles.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $13.00 - $15.00 per hour
