Salary Range: $4,644/month to $6,221 month; Starting Salary DOQ, DOE

Brief Duties and Responsibilities:
The Assistant Office Manager assists the Office Manager in the oversight of the non-attorney staff of the Criminal and Civil divisions of the Prosecuting Attorney’s Office. Position supports and coordinates various aspects of Prosecuting Attorney’s Office activities including front office and attorney support. The Assistant Office Manager must be able to perform the same functions as the Legal Assistant III and in addition must be able to assist the Office Manager in all payroll, budget and staff supervision functions of the office.

Supervisory Responsibilities:
Supervision of Legal Assistants and other non-attorney staff is a normal responsibility of this position.

Working Environment/Physical Abilities:
Work is normally performed in an office and courtroom setting. Must be able to sit for extended periods; stand, bend, reach, and lift up to 20 pounds. Required to have visual and hearing acuity and manual dexterity to perform the functions of the position. Ability to maintain a neat and professional appearance.

Minimum Qualifications: Education And Experience:
Education and experience associated with applicable college Associate Degree or certifications in office operations/management and four (4) years of progressively responsible administrative support applicable to the position and that includes supervision experience. Legal office experience and/or vocational training preferred.

Licenses And Other Requirements:
Must successfully pass a criminal background check and a driving record check. Must be eligible to obtain license as a Notary Public.
