Roles and Responsibilities:
- Tracks sales data, maintains promotional materials inventory, plans meetings and trade shows, maintains databases, and prepares report.
- Implements marketing and advertising campaigns by assembling and analyzing sales forecasts; preparing marketing and advertising strategies, plans, and objectives; planning and organizing promotional presentations; and updating calendars.
- Keeps promotional materials ready by coordinating requirements with sales and purchasing departments.
- Supports sales staff by providing sales data, market trends, forecasts, account analyses, and new product information.
- Plans meetings and trade shows by identifying, assembling, and coordinating requirements, establishing contacts, developing schedules and assignments, and coordinating mailing lists.
- Updates job knowledge by participating in educational opportunities and reading trade publications.
- Accomplishes organization goals by accepting ownership for accomplishing new and different requests.
Qualifications
· 1 year of intern/professional experience in Communications or Marketing
· Associate or bachelor’s degree in communications, Marketing, or related field
· Strong writing skills required
· Ability to work independently and in a team environment
· Outgoing personality
· Ability to juggle multiple tasks related to different companies with strong attention to detail and accuracy
· Strong organization, problem solving, planning, and time management skills
· Good understanding of social media platforms and content creation
· Exhibit a sense of urgency and ownership of projects through to completion
· Effective communication and interpersonal skills
· Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) and Adobe Creative Cloud (Photoshop and InDesign)
Responsibilities
· Achieve organization and department goals by accepting ownership in completing new and different requests, exploring opportunities to add value to job accomplishments
· Plan and schedule all social media posts; respond to sales and dealer inquiries, comments, and reviews
· Create marketing collateral for distribution
· Maintain and manage CRM database (Bolt)
· Write and post blog posts, job stories, and case studies
· Visit job sites to gather photos, video, and content for social media (as needed)
· Write and post press releases as needed
· Update website content as needed
· Assistance in planning of the tradeshows, including registering vendors, show support materials, etc.
· Other duties as assigned
